Babu Singh Kushwaha in BJP WHY ?

Controversial former UP minister Babu Singh Kushwaha into BJP fold is continues to draw flak from Congress even as today its own party people exhibited resentment to Kushwaha’s entry.  Senior BJP leaders Menaka Gandhi on Friday said that BJP should not have inducted tainted BSP leaders in the party as it deteriorates party’s imagae. Expressing unhappiness, she said that the move will also impact BJP’s chances in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Another BJP leader Uma Bharati did not defend Kushwaha’s induction instead refrained from speaking about party in front of media. Congress continued to flay BJP for inducting Babu Singh whose premises were raided by CBI in connection with NRHM scam.
Countering BJP’s claim that they were unaware of Kushwaha being investigated, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh said BJP is the master of disinformation. He alleged that like Congress, BJP was also aware that Kushwaha was under CBI radar. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who heads NDA government in the state also criticized BJP on this issue. He said BJP’s move in not consistent with its stand on corruption. BJP MP Kriti Azad has expressed disappointment over admission of Kushwaha saying his party is repeating past mistake and they need to be rectified. BJP’s fielding of its former MP Chatrapal Singh in the UP Assembly polls has also under criticism. He was expelled from Rajya Sabha for his role in cash for query scam. Sangh Parivar mentor RSS also expressed disappointment over BJP’s poll decisions.
