BSP MLA from Hasanganj consumes poison

Sitting BSP MLA, Radhe Lal Rawat from Hasanganj Seat in Unnao and a candidate from Mohaan constituency was admitted in the Trauma Centre of Chattrapati Shahuji Medical University under critical condition on Wednesday. The MLA was reportedly under stress after he came to know that the party has scrapped his ticket and consumed some poisonous substance. However, no report was lodged with the police. While family members of the MLA refused to go on record, sources close to Radhey Lal said that he consumed a poisonous substance late on Tuesday night under stress after he was replaced by Jai Prakash Rawat by the party.
