UP Phase 1 Polls begins, Initial Voting slow due to rain

Uttar Pradesh(UP) Assembly Election's battle begins today morning when Polling began at 7am in 55 constituencies of the 403 assembly segments in India's most populous and politically crucial state but initial voting in first one hour is slow due to light rain in some parts such as Ayodhya and some other constituencies, but we expect a higher turnaround when rain stop and sky will be clear after moring. Voting will ends at 5pm. A total of 1.70 crore people are eligible to vote in this round. Among the important constituencies are Mahasi and Matera in Bahraich, Ayodhya in Faizabad, Sitapur, Kushinagar, Mubarakpur in Azamgarh and Gazipur.
