Rail Budget 2012 for Uttar Pradesh (UP) - New Trains

Rail Budget 2012-13 for Uttar Pradesh(UP): Rail Budget 2012-13 to be announced Today (14th March 2012) at 11:00 AM onwards by Union Railway Minister Mr Dinesh Trivedi. The rail budget for this year has lots of expectations for Uttar Pradesh(UP) people with many key highlights of the budget. Here comes the Live Highlights from Parliament:

It is not a bad budget that you have increased passenger fare which is absolutely necessary when increment payable is due to employees every year and we never heard that the diesel prices gone down. But your predecessors had burdened you by not increasing the goods and passenger fare then and there when it was necessary. I appreciate you for your bold and right decision to increase the fares at least now which will not allow to go in Indian Airlines way. We may be pride to be the citizen of the world's largest democratic country and to have the Indian Railways, the largest employer in the world. But we should be ashamed to have all such credits where the corruption is rampant from top to bottom. You can't wipe out corruption over night; but it is possible in the long run, if you take some stringent steps to curb this menace right from recruitment itself. You can't expect an employee not to accept bribe while his appointment itself was made out of bribe.
