Narendra Modi addresses rally in Bahraich, UP

Narendra Modi addresses massive Vijay Shankhnad rally in Bahraich.  Addressing a massive Vijay Shankhnad rally in Bahraich, the BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Shri Narendra Modi slammed the politics of the Congress and took on the SP and BSP saying that the two parties are competing not to provide development to the people of Uttar Pradesh but are competing on which party will have more criminals and will be more corrupt. Sharpening his attack further Shri Modi said, “SP and BSP are supporting the Centre. They know without them the Centre cannot survive. If they want they can make the Centre bend. If they ask for railways or airport the Centre will have to give but they are not asking only…they are only worried about their families and they want to save their seats.”
Shri Modi affirmed that their names can be Congress, SP and BSP but their Gotra, DNA and character are one. “Never think they are separate,” the BJP’s PM candidate avowed referring to the Congress, SP and BSP. Contrasting the conduct of the SP and BSP with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Shri Modi stated, “Mamata Didi fights with Delhi for West Bengal but SP and BSP leaders protect Delhi and save them. They ask Delhi for help in CBI cases.” Shri Modi pointed that the Congress and its allies are worried about the BJP’s rising popularity and that is why they are turning to votebank and anti-democratic politics. Directly questioning the SP government for the treatment of BJP MLAs Shri Modi declared, “I want to ask the rulers of UP, what was the reason you sent our MLAs to prison and defamed our party? When the law said they are not guilty you put another law. Due to votebank politics you cannot punish the guilty so you will punish the innocent?” He added that because the same forces who could not defeat the BJP in Gujarat through democratic means of as many as three occasions are now trying different things like the support of the CBI and the Indian Mujahedeen. In a clear message to anti-national elements seeking to destroy the peace and harmony of the nation Shri Modi affirmed, “Let me tell those who are doing politics with gun and bombs that we are built differently. We have never bowed nor will be bow to terrorists. If you have the courage to defeat us, do so democratically. Go among the people. Why are you doing all this?” Shri Modi expressed confidence that the people of India will not bow to such ploys and that the country will scale new heights of development despite the guns of the terrorists. Shri Modi said that so rattled are the Congress, SP and BSP that they will not contest the elections but will leave it to the CBI and the Indian Mujahedeen to save the day. He categorically stated that in a democracy there can be no place for guns and bombs. He asked what was the crime of those who lost their lives in the blasts in Patna, was it that they said ‘Bharat Ma ki Jai?’ Speeches were made by UP BJP President Shri Laxmikant Bajpai, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Vinay Katiyar, Senior BJP leaders Shri Kalraj Mishra and Shri Ramapati Ram Tripathi
